About the Event
Who is World Renew?
World Renew Disaster Response Services, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, has responded to disasters in the U.S. for more than 40 years and was active in New York and New Jersey following Hurricane Sandy.

What will World Renew do in Brazoria County?
World Renew’s trained volunteers will conduct community assessments of unmet needs in flood-damaged areas of Brazoria County from Monday, January 15 - Friday, January 26, 2018. They will be contacting families who have registered with FEMA. For those who still have unmet needs, World Renew will conduct in-depth interviews at 3 Walk-In Center locations within Brazoria County. Assessments will be turned over to the Brazoria County Long-Term Recovery Committee (BCL-TRC) and United Way of Brazoria County (UWBC) to review.

How can you help?
World Renew needs your help to facilitate the Walk-In Centers and conduct community assessments. They will provide the training you need to confidently obtain the information Brazoria County need to optimize recoevry following Harvey.
