Hello and Thank you for wanting to volunteer with us here at SNIPSA.
Volunteer Requirements. I hereby agree to accept a position as a volunteer worker for SNIPSA, Inc. (“SNIPSA”), and in so doing, I agree to become familiar with SNIPSA’s policies and procedures and comply with the letter and spirit of all such policies and procedures. I acknowledge that my services are provided strictly on a volunteer basis, without any pay or compensation of any kind. I fully understand and agree that SNIPSA expects high standards of moral and ethical treatment of animals under its care. I agree to adhere to these standards in my volunteer capacity with SNIPSA. I fully understand and agree that SNIPSA may, in its sole discretion, terminate me and my services as a SNIPSA volunteer at any time for any reason.
VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE TO BE LEFT WITH OUT SUPERVISION AT ANY EVENT.
Risk of Injury & Property Damage. I recognize that while performing my volunteer services for SNIPSA, which includes handling animals, the following risks exist: (1) injury to me including animal bites, whether accidental or not, and other types of personal physical harm, and (2) damage to my property.
Release & Indemnification. I SHALL RELEASE, DISCHARGE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD SNIPSA AND ITS EMPLOYEES, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE HEIRS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (COLLECTIVELY, THE "INDEMNIFIED PARTIES") HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, CAUSES, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, COSTS AND EXPENSES, including reasonable attorney fees, expert fees and court costs, arising from me making a claim for damages with respect to any aspect of my involvement with SNIPSA, EVEN IF the claim, cause, demand, damage, cost or expense is CAUSED IN WHOLE OR IN PART BY THE NEGLIGENCE OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE INDEMNIFIED PARTIES. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of any other provision shall not be affected.
Public Relations. I understand that public relations are an important part of volunteering for SNIPSA. I, therefore, agree on behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives, successors, and assigns to allow SNIPSA, to use any photographs and/or videos taken of me for use in any public relations efforts, even if SNIPSA does not notify me of this use.
