**Volunteers under the age of 18 are NOT allowed to handle large dogs. Ages 14-15 must be accompanied by an adult. No volunteers under the age of 14 are allowed to walk dogs.** Volunteers will help walk and market the dogs at the event, and will also clean up after them if they go potty. It will be your job to get as much information as possible about the dog so that you can better help them find a home.
Load & Unload SNIPSA van at office
We need a very special crew to help load up after our event and unload at the SNIPSA - Put away crates & puppy pins - Spray down puppy grass -Wash dog bowls, ect.
*MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 14 YEARS OLD. VOLUNTEERS AGES 14-15 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES* Volunteers help care for the puppies that are available for adoption. This is big job, we must make sure that puppies are not mixed up between litters or placed on the ground. They don’t have a very strong immune system since they have not received all of their shots, much like a child in daycare or elementary school. Other responsibilities include cleaning up after the puppies, and ensuring our visitors handle the puppies safely.
Volunteers will assist SNIPSA staff in setting up for our Big Fix! This generally entails unloading equipment and supplies, organizing, inventorying, and making sure we are all set for the big day!
