About the Event
Join SNIPSA and Snooze, an A.M. Eatery at the Vineyard for an adoption event from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM!
Volunteers will help SNIPSA staff break down tents, tables and other equipment. Everything is loaded into the SNIPSA vehicle. Then we ask that you follow us back to the office to unload. The office is located at 4216 McCullough Ave.
Dog Walkingwaiting list
**Volunteers under the age of 18 are NOT allowed to handle large dogs. Ages 14-15 must be accompanied by an adult. No volunteers under the age of 14 are allowed to walk dogs.** Volunteers will help walk and market the dogs at the event, and will also clean up after them if they go potty. It will be your job to get as much information as possible about the dog so that you can better help them find a home.
Merchandise Managerwaiting list
We sell various merchandise items at our events (from collars, to leashes, to t-shirts and ID tags). Volunteers will help watch over our merchandise tables and will be responsible for interacting with customers when they are interested in purchasing an item. Volunteers will also help take payments and create dog ID tags. **Must have experience using an iPad and/or be knowledgeable of computers/software/apps etc.**

*MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT: 14 YEARS OLD. VOLUNTEERS AGES 14-15 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES* Volunteers help care for the puppies that are available for adoption. This is big job, we must make sure that puppies are not mixed up between litters or placed on the ground. They don’t have a very strong immune system since they have not received all of their shots, much like a child in daycare or elementary school. Other responsibilities include cleaning up after the puppies, and ensuring our visitors handle the puppies safely.
Volunteers will help SNIPSA Staff set up for our adoption event. This includes unloading the SNIPSA vehicle, setting up tents and tables, and all other event materials. This isn't the most glamorous job, but it is a vital and necessary job in order for our events to run successfully!
