2022 Sacramento Point-In-Time Count
With Sacramento Steps Forward

Sacramento Steps Forward Community Volunteer

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer!

We are the lead agency for the Sacramento Continuum of Care (CoC)—the regional planning body that coordinates housing and services for homeless families and individuals in Sacramento. SSF is not a direct service provider and does not have a way to utilize volunteers directly.

However, we're currently organizing the 2022 Point-In Time (PIT) Count that typically occurs over two nights in late January to count the number of unsheltered persons in our community. The success of this event is possible with the tremendous support and dedication of our community volunteers.

We also collaborate regularly with a large network of community partners and volunteer agencies. Please take a few minutes to share details about your areas of volunteer interests and availability that we can share with our partners. You can enter "N/A" for items that aren't applicable to you. The information you provide will help us find suitable volunteer opportunities for you as they arise.
