Flexible Role
Minimum time commitment of 4 hours per week; Minimum of 6 months. Open to both working professionals and students.

About the Assignment
Responsibilities may be assigned or combined depending on staffing:

· Works with Director of Development to draft and complete grant applications
· Research and shortlist appropriate granting programs for SAAAC's programming objectives
· Collect and organize the necessary information/documentation required to complete the grants assigned
· Work with Director of Development to initiate working partnerships with community agencies and other organizations/businesses
· Generate leads for prospective donors, sponsors and granting programs
· Generate proposals in a persuasive and professional manner

· Superior skills researching and synthesizing academic and policy papers
· Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
· Demonstrate superior writing skills
· Work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or College Diploma in the Liberal Arts, Humanities, Business, Marketing or a related discipline/program. Equivalent relevant work-experience is also acceptable
