The Ontario Championships is the largest volleyball event of the year and it's going to take a lot of effort to make it the best one yet!

For the first time in the history of the OVA, we are thrilled to be hosting Ontario Championships at Enercare Centre! This 56-court facility will be hosting the largest youth amateur volleyball event in the province and one of Canada's premier sporting events.

Responsible for the collection of on-site physical testing and athlete check in.

Assist with medal presentations. This role will require staff to assist with set-up, direct participants to the correct area, monitor doors and traffic flow.

Check-in Coaches prior to competitions. Verify rosters are complete and obtain any missing Respect in sport numbers. Hand out swag bags and Award of Excellence Medals.

Assist with the maintenance of the playing surface, which may require some physical labour as well as heavy lifting and cleaning.

Assist with various duties through out the day. Duties will be assigned on site as needed. This role may require heavy lifting

Attend to participant and spectator questions, manage recruiter sign-in, assist spectators with event schedules, provide directions regarding venue lay out

Assist the Tournament Coordinators with results input and verification. This role requires a high attention to detail and accountability

Responsible for the collection and delivery of scoresheets from the assigned courts. This role requires a substantial amount of walking and dealing with Referee Area Supervisors.
