Thanks for your interest in volunteering during New Orleans Entrepreneur Week 2017 presented by IBERIABANK. This year, the event will be taking place Sunday, March 19th – Friday, March 24th, 2017 on the brand new NOEW Campus at the Contemporary Arts Center and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art.
We are currently recruiting volunteers for the following areas:
ONSITE REGISTRATION – Registration and Credentials assistants will assist patrons with event registration and NOEW credentials pick up at the registration hub. Registration and Credentials assistants must be friendly, professional, have a good sense of direction and be familiar with New Orleans. You will be ambassadors of NOEW.
TALENT MANAGEMENT – Greet our speakers and assist with any of their needs, production company needs or Idea Village needs. Tasks could include setup, event support, crowd management and more.
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT – Move throughout the campus and assist with logistics. Volunteers will also be stationed around the venues with maps, schedules and other information and will help direct patrons around NOEW. This role can take many forms and may be assigned special one-off roles due to daily needs.
THE BIG IDEA EVENT – Assist with will call and tickets sales or help one of our Featured Entrepreneurs set up their booth at the culminating event of NOEW on Friday, March 24th.
INFO BOOTH – Info booth volunteers will direct Startup Catalyst participants to their showcase booths based on the schedule provided, assist in directing entrepreneurs to their Meet a Mentor assignments based on the schedule provided, elevate concerns of any featured entrepreneurs to a member of the NOEW staff, and hand out maps, schedules and be of general assistance to the NOEW audience by giving directions and information as needed.
