About the Assignment
Do you like working from home, but collaborating with a mission-driven team in a small but mighty non-profit? Are you self-starting, a strategic thinker, with strong background (3+ years) of social media management?

We are looking for an outstanding Social Media Coordinator to join our Movemeant Tribe. This position uses expertise to help us maximize our reach on social media.

  • Have experience managing multiple social media platforms
  • Work well on a team but can also work independently without much guidance
  • Happy working from home
  • Highly collaborative with a team (in Slack, video conference, events, team gatherings)
  • Have experience curating content and can produce witty, well structured posts
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Enjoy making meaningful connections
  • Are passionate about our mission
  • Smart, resourceful, and a good researcher, creative, self-starter

  • Curate @Movemeant Instagram feed using Planoly
  • Optimize posting days and times for highest engagement
  • Research hashtags and optimize top 25 relevant to our mission
  • Provide feedback on trends and recommend ways to improve as well as new types of content to create
  • Curate community content to repost from our hashtags/tagged photos
  • Genuinely engage with meaningful comments on our content, our community, ambassadors, sponsors and partners, etc.
