This year, West Bend will be celebrating our 37th GERMANfest!
Available Roles
Bar Managerfull
Help explain, train and help the volunteer bartenders. Includes quick introduction and explaination before the shift begins, and cleaning up/ transitioning for next shift!
Beverage Area
This group helps with the selling & serving of beer, wine, soda and water at our beverage stand during the event!
MUST BE 18 OR OLDER TO SERVE
Garbage & Recycling
Teams of 2 people to empty garbage and recycle bins.
German Desserts
Serve desserts and coffee during event with Hankerson's Country Oven Bakery!
Kinderzone / Kids Activities
This group helps with the Kinderzone activities, games and crafts!
Money Managerfull
Supervisory role for cash runners
Money Runner
Securely collects excess change and makes change for event registers
Norbert Food Service Volunteer
Help with serving/cash handling of food sold at event!
RESTOCK Ice, Soda & Water
Deliver & Stock our Ice, Soda and Water to bar area & other food vendors.
Set Up Germanfest Crew
This group helps with set up before the event - unload trucks, move tables, assemble fencing, hang signs, etc.
Sheepshead Players (as needed to fill spots)
Players to fill in empty seats as needed during tournament play.
MUST KNOW HOW TO PLAY SHEEPSHEAD
Sheepshead Registration
Register sheepshead players before each tournament play and hand out prizes to the winners.
You do not need to know how to play Sheepshead.
Take Down Germanfest
Take down all of the equipment for Germanfest - tables, chairs, garbage cans, fencing, signs, boxes, etc. and load it into trucks
