About the Event
Please sign up when you plan on attending a workday, it helps us utilize our staff better and ensure we have plenty prepared for the number of volunteers attending! If no volunteers sign up or show up
before 10 am on a workday, or let us know you want to come later in the day, there is no guarantee our staff will remain at the site with no volunteers and the shift will be canceled online, volunteers
will receive a notification.
*Want to check-in/double-check with us before you head out to the site? Call our office (262) 338-0690 or email volunteer@hfhwashco.org
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Habitat provides all safety gear and protection such as, hard hats, gloves, eye protection, earplugs, etc. Volunteers are welcome to bring this own safety gear, but Habitat is not responsible for lost or misplaced items!
DRESS CODE: Hard Soled Shoes/Puncture Resistant-Soled Shoes, work boots or hiking boots recommended!
Clothes should fit comfortably, but not too baggy and something you don't mind possibly getting a little dirty!
Typical workdays are from 9 am to 3 pm, but volunteers are welcome to come and go as you please during that time. We do not provide lunch, but we break for lunch and volunteers are welcome to bring something to eat, or get lunch and come back if they would like.
ADDRESSES MAY VARY FROM SHIFT TO SHIFT! Please see the specific shift that you signed up for, for the confirmation of address! We work at different locations throughout the season/weather pending! If you are ever unsure of a location, please reach out to our office (262) 338-0690 or volunteer@hfhwashco.org!
