“One of the best experiences was when all of the ambassadors united during Typhoon Yolanda and the Haiyan aftermath. We provided healthy and freshly cooked meals for the victims of Tacloban and Samar.

About Us
Our Mission:
The Food Revolution is an ongoing, global campaign to provoke debate and inspire positive, meaningful change in the way we access, consume and understand food. Every May, we hold Food Revolution Day to celebrate success, raise awareness and invite more people, businesses and governments to join us!
The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation
Access to good, fresh, real food and the basic skills to cook it has the power to transform lives, and that is what the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation is all about.
From our food education programmes delivered at a local level, to our national and international campaigns that influence policy on key issues, we aim to revolutionise the way people feed themselves, and their families.

Every year on Food Revolution Day, we celebrate success and shout about what needs to improve to further galvanise governments and industry to help us drive positive change in food education and public health.

We can’t do this alone. The Food Revolution will only succeed with the support of people and organisations who can widen our reach and help us to both understand people’s behaviour and the effectiveness of what we do.
Food Revolution Day May 19th 2017
The Food Revolution is all about changing things - laws, policies, practices, minds and opinions in support of better food for all our kids.
Our main goal is to shout about the need for robust childhood obesity strategies to be implemented by governments all over the world, with a specific focus this year on junk food marketing to kids.
For Food Revolution Day this year, we’ll be launching a petition ‘To stop advertising junk food to kids’. The petition will be live on Friday 31 March

The Ambassador program
The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation founded the Food Revolution Voluntary Ambassador program in 2012 with a vision of galvanizing an already growing global foodie community into a movement with purpose. That purpose is to keep cooking skills alive.

The aim of the program is to build a powerful movement where our collective voice can bring about positive change to reduce the impact of diet-related disease in current and future generations around the world.

We want to empower volunteerswho love food to become Ambassadors for the Food Revolution. Ambassadors share information, talents and resources, pass on their knowledgeand work together to make a difference by connecting with their communitythrough schools, restaurants, local businesses, farmer’s markets and beyond.

The Food Revolution is about inspiring changein people’s food habits and promoting the mission for better food and food education for everyone. Our ambassadors are integralto growing the Food Revolution from the ground up, within the communities who need it the most.

“The Ambassador Program has provided me with a channel to communicate shared ideals. Cooking used to be intuitive, something passed on from mother to daughter. Many years after leaving the beautiful Italian countryside I have seen that knowing how to cook is no longer common knowledge. I want to share my family tradition by passing on my cooking skills through the international network of the Food Revolution Community. My goal is to inspire by giving.” -
