About the Assignment
Oversee the daily operations of Elijah Rising, develop the internal structure of Elijah Rising to ensure optimum efficiency, and protect its assets. Essential duties include contributing to the development of strategic plans, supporting program activities with necessary data, and maintaining facilities. Operate as the central administrative and logistical support for Elijah Rising including its programs and staff.

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, nonprofit management or economics preferred
3 - 5 years of experience in organizational leadership

Responsibilities
Daily Operations
● Maintains the stability and reputation of the organization by complying with legal requirements.
● Protect the intellectual property and fiscal records of ER through regular and secure backups.
● Maintain a pleasant working environment of all office spaces by implementing policies for regular maintenance, operation, and cleaning.
● In conjunction with HR, develop processes and protocols for staff and volunteers to ensure maximum efficiency and clarity between activities.
● Review and implement process improvement techniques throughout the organization.
● Implement Security protocols for staff safety including Fire drills and crisis response plans.
● Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of ER owned transportation (license, insurance, repairs).
● Maintain appropriate insurance coverage: D & O, property, liability, contents etc.
● Maintain appropriate licensing updates for all hardware, software, etc.
● Oversee the schedule and execution of capital improvements and physical repairs.
● Maintain up-to-date monthly reports for all programs, tracking necessary metrics and special occurrences.
● Ensure the availability of merchandise and services by vetting vendors and advising on contracts.
● Assist organization with event planning details as needed
● Support various programs with logistical and back-office administration

Logistical Support
● Oversee the logistics of volunteer engagement by creating volunteer roles based on the needs of the organization, tracking volunteer role requirements, maintaining an up-to-date volunteer database, preparing materials, and ensuring timely communication to key volunteers.
● Act as the gatekeeper for all community engagement, obtaining details, scheduling, securing speakers, prepping staff, and preparing materials.
● Act as administrative support staff to the other Directors as needed.

Financial Support
● Provide support to the Bookkeeper as they prepare, file, and pay appropriate taxes on time in conformity to established regulations and coordinate with tax preparers and accountants for annual tax purposes
● Oversee the best practices for reporting gifts; including monetary and in-kind donations.
● Process cash and check donations and maintain an up to date cash log
