About the Assignment
Life Skills Trainers commit to lead workshops in a safe, positive, strength-based environment. Trainers should be consistent and dedicated to the development and growth of students in the Kendleton Farms Restorative Care Program. Trainers will share their professional knowledge which will directly support students transition into healthy, independent living.

Workshops should be relevant to “Life Skills” series. Possible topics include, but are not limited to: Conflict Resolution, Healthy Relationships, Health & Fitness, Budgeting, Importance of Hygiene, Technology, Writing, etc.

Trainers should be knowledgeable of their topic and comfortable speaking in public.
  • Must be at least 18
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Must be willing to commit to 6-12 hours of classroom time.
  • Sensitivity and willingness to be responsive to cultural differences, beliefs,
    religions, ​and lifestyles of students
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Honor mission, vision, ​and values of Elijah Rising

Applicants must complete a Background Check by following the instructions below. You will not be able to volunteer at the farm until​ the Background​ Check is complete.
