Our Mission:
The Center for Asian American Media is a nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting stories that convey the richness and diversity of Asian American experiences.
Annually, we hold CAAMFest during Asian American and Pacific Islander Native Hawaiian Month. Volunteer with us from May 12-22nd!
HOW TO REGISTER FOR SHIFTS
*Please note, the roles you sign up for are not automatically guaranteed and we do try to honor the first come, first serve policy.
1) Click “Opportunities” located on the right side of the “About” page
2) Click “CAAMFest40”
3) Click “Sign up” at the right hand side or scroll to the bottom of the Available Roles and click “Sign up”
4) Read through the available roles and click “Sign up” to request to fill a shift. You are able to sign up for multiple roles at once. Once you mark the shifts you’d like to request, click “Next”.
5) You should see a Sign-Up form. The form is short and asks for your email, phone number and short questions. Click “Complete Signup” when you complete the form.
6) You will be notified if you have been approved for a shift. If the shift is full, I will also notify you and ask you to help us fill a different role/shift that is open.

Volunteer Expectations
- Can commit to a minimum of two shifts over the course of CAAMFest40 (approx. 4-5 hours per shift / 8-10 hours total)
- Must attend a mandatory Volunteer Orientation:

COVID-19 Policy
Volunteers are vital to CAAMFest, and we greatly appreciates the time and energy volunteers devote to our projects and programs. As a volunteer, you should understand and agree to the information in the following terms before you perform any work in a venue for CAAMFest40.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Requirements can shift based on the City of San Francisco and CDC guidelines. We encourage our volunteers to stay up to date on possible changes.
- We are requiring that volunteers be up to date with their vaccinations. This means that you've received all doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible. Please check the CDC guidelines here on what this entails. We will be checking your vaccination status before your first shift.
- We will require that volunteers wear masks while performing any tasks that require interaction and interfacing with the public and community for CAAMFest40.
