Apply to volunteer with the Urban Harvest Black Creek team

I hereby grant Black Creek Community Farm (BCCF) and its partner organizations (e.g. TRCA, FoodShare) permission to photograph and/or record me and to use these materials to promote the project through the media of print, television, film, radio, and other forms of electronic media (including its official website and social media accounts online. I also grant BCCF permission to identify me by my first name in the above listed media outlets. I further waive any remuneration for use of material recorded for this purpose, and I understand these materials remain the property of BCCF.

You acknowledge that you have voluntarily enrolled in volunteer work with Black Creek Community Farm's Urban Harvest Program. Tasks for this volunteer opportunity may include lifting (up to 30 pounds) and riding cargo bike on streets and side walks. Such tasks may pose a danger to you. Black Creek Community Farm is a working farm. As such, farm equipment, poultry, and other such hazards inherent to farming activities exist on the property and may pose a danger to you. You have the right to refuse any activity you judge unsafe or uncomfortable.
You, by signing this release and waiver of liability, hereby release and hold harmless Black Creek Community Farm, FoodShare Toronto and their officers, directors, and employees from any and all liabilities resulting from any injury you may sustain in connection with and arising out of such hazards. Please understand that we will take every measure possible to keep you safe and to ensure that you will not be put in harm’s way.
