About the Event
Help us produce the Bearrison Street Fair, centered at 11th Street and Harrison in SF's SoMa District. Every completed shift will earn a donation for a nonprofit or charity of your choice! Plus
volunteers all get a Bearrison T-shirt and access to our Hospitality HQ, with food, private toilets, and a unique backstage view of the Main Stage.
Available Roles
Gates
You will be the face of the fair, welcoming attendees and encouraging them to donate (if they haven't already). You will also serve as back-up security, keeping an eye on things as folks enter to be sure everyone has a sane and safe experience.
Hospitality
As needed, you could be assigned to a variety of roles, including service at the Hospitality HQ, bag/clothes check, VIP Greeter, vendor relations, food and beverage liaison, or entertainment assistant.
Merch Boothfull
Staff our merchandise booth. Basic cash training required.
Set Up
Help with setting up the event. Tasks will vary but may require physical labor, including lifting or moving heavy objects.
Ticket Booths
You will be staffing the Ticket Booths, selling VIP passes and gate donations as well as distributing pre-paid Will Call . You may also check for 21+, so LEAD training recommended. Basic cash handling and eCommerce skills needed.
Treasurerfull
You will be in charge of receiving, counting, recording, and preparing all cash for deposit at the Money HQ.
Volunteer Check-Infull
You will assist volunteers with the check-in and check-out process, and also help as needed in the Hospitality HQ.
