About Us
Our Mission:
Any Baby Can partners with families to build stability, develop skills, and unlock each child’s full potential. We aspire to create a community that empowers parents, prioritizes healthy families, and invests in child development.
Father's Day Frames
Create heartfelt gifts for our client dads!
Join Any Baby Can in celebrating our awesome dads this Father’s Day! We will provide volunteers with a step-by-step guide to create a cardboard picture frame (or a whole lot of them!) decorated with craft materials you have likely already have around the house for a one-of-a-kind heartfelt gift for fathers in our Family Education Program. Registered volunteers can sign up in the volunteer hub.
Grab-and-go puzzles
Create fun puzzles for kids using simple materials at home!
Puzzles are particularly effective at helping young children with their hand-eye coordination, but also improve spatial awareness, concentration, fine motor abilities, memory and more... All great things for our client kiddos! Any Baby Can is seeking volunteers to create these grab-and-go puzzles and will provide all project instructions.
Virtual Story Time
Volunteers will work together to present 2-3 stories to Any Baby Can clients in a fun and engaging story time both in English and Spanish.
We are seeking English readers, Spanish readers, as well as a tech coordinator to help us present the slides onto the Zoom call.
Volunteers should engage children in activities such as repeating sounds, identifying colors, counting, and more!
Volunteers will be asked to attend one informational session via Zoom once signed up, one "dress rehearsal" run through before the event, and attend the virtual event on the scheduled time. Shifts are currently filled for May, and June dates will be posted soon!
Hand-made face masks
Our staff and client families need face masks and are seeking donations of homemade masks. While under normal circumstances fabric masks are not recommended for clinical use, CDC guidelines and emerging research show that fabric masks may help prevent community spread of the Coronavirus.
Lovey Blankets
Lovey blankets can be used to teach self-soothing and ease separation anxiety in infants. Use your creativity and sewing skills to make a two-sided lovey blanket with colorful, soft fabric, ribbons with different textures, and or even stuffed animals.
Activity Videos
Working or learning from home can leave families missing out on experiences and stimulation. Our early intervention programs encourages families to participate in activities that promote physical, cognitive and social development. Create videos at home guiding clients through activities such as cooking tutorials, exercises, crafts and more.
Group Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you're looking for a one-time, team-building or ongoing activity, we have a variety of opportunities to your group. If you are interested in organizing a virtual volunteer opportunity for your corporate, school, service, or other group, please email our Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator at volunteer@anybabycan.org
"Volunteering with Any Baby Can is very rewarding. We help families every day and make a difference, without expecting anything in return."
