About the Event
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease!

For the health and safety of our constituents, volunteers acting on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association at outdoor in-person events must either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive a negative COVID test during the week prior to the event.

Available Roles
Break Down
After a great Walk event, we rely on our team of staff and volunteers to help pack up all of our supplies and clean the area so we leave no trace behind.
Check In
Advising on how to register on the App or through paper form and turn in donations. Catch all attendees that miss greeters.
Greeters
Assist walkers with checking in on the App and turning in any donations. Also helping with crowd control and providing direction and safety protocol information.
Production
Help support various activities in the main festivities area such as supporting the Champions Tent, servicing the Food Area, assisting staff at the Main Stage, and other duties as assigned.
Promise Garden
These volunteers will be helping us ensure participants get the appropriate color flower and help facilitate a meaningful and beautiful Promise Garden.
Set Up Day Of
This role is for the early risers! Join us before the sun comes up to help put together everything that makes our Walks a success. Be prepared to set up tables and chairs, help with signage, and setting up various stations.
Walk Route/Thank You Brigade
You'll be helping keep things lively along the Walk route, helping direct participants, and cheering them on.
Water Station
Stationed along the Walk route, you'll be helping ensure participants are getting the water they need and helping clean up the water station so we leave no trace behind.
